Hey guys, I know I haven't posted anything new in a bit, but I have some pretty cool news. I've been in development to create my very own comic to be published through King Comics LLC. So I've been working at creating my new world and characters along with writing the story. I figure with everything else I have on my plate along with still going to college and my full time job, plus family it may take a bit but I'm pushing hard to make my dream come true, so wish me luck and I'll keep you up to date with things as best as I can.

Actually it hasn't been all that long since I've been on, I just haven't been keeping up with Deviant as much as I should have. A lot has happened since I last have made a journal entry. I started my diet, went from 235 pounds to 192 and I'm not done yet, My goal is 175! I've been running like a mad man. I just finished another session at AIP and I'm positive I aced it, I had a blast and I think my final turned out rather well. In fact my instructor Pamela Moss told me in an e-mail "This is by far the most successful 3D model I've seen for this project!" I do have a new piece I have been working on when I've had a second here and there. It is up to now my largest piece and I think that it will be a hit. It has me already thinking of future little projects, I may even do my first survey for my next project. That is if everything turns out okay. I hope everyone had a great Halloween and thanks to all that have visited and Faved my work!!

I'm about two and a half weeks until I finish up my second session at the Art Institute. Once I am finished there I really want to go back and do some serious figure studies. I really got the bug once I jumped on facebook and saw one of my former instructors was using a charcoal sketch I did of her as her ID picture. So I went through some of my old sketches, which I hope to post out here eventually, and got really pumped about it. My goal is to try out some different mediums and just improve. I believe this will help me out overall as a better artist. I still want to get out some comic art but I just want to mix things up a little do things I normally do not, or at least things my parents would sic the priest on me for, lol (inside joke, they do not think the human figure is art).

I'm into week 4 of my first session at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh (online), which I just transferred to from Lansing Community College (just shortly after making the Presidents List there). So a new chapter has begun, and I'm having a great time (yet stressful). Hopefully once this session is over I can use some of the things I've been learning and do something with them, but in the meantime I'm just having fun. Once I get some spare time I plan to start some pages or pin-ups to to until the next session starts, so just keep watching this space til further notice, lol.

It's been one hellava year so far, been run down in both mind and body at work, had my computer take a major dump on me. It always seems there's never enough time to do the things I love to do. So hopefully all the bull$#%* is behind me and I can get my head from out my @$$ and get back to drawing. I've been really disappointed in the quality of my work lately, so I took a step back and really focused on what I was doing wrong. I'm gonna work on some of my own characters for a while (I have an idea for a little book with them), I have this dream of making some pin-ups with them and maybe a calendar, we'll see,
